Chris is the most recent addition to the firm having joined after a spell in Glasgow and Inverness working as a Procurator Fiscal before turning his hand to criminal defence work. He was born and raised in Glasgow and upon leaving High School decided to remain at home and study at the University of Strathclyde.

Once achieving his Bachelor of Arts in Law and English Chris made the decision to head to America. He secured employment as a football coach for Major League Soccer and was flown stateside to work for Real Salt Lake and Colorado Rapids. After an enjoyable time in America, he then returned to the University of Strathclyde and secured a 2:1 LLB Honors Degree. Whilst completing his LLB, Chris worked part time in the Procurator Fiscals Office in Glasgow and that led to him securing a legal traineeship with the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service.

During his time working for COPFS, Chris gained invaluable experience working alongside experienced Advocate‚Äôs in a variety of High Court Trials. He also spent time within the Serious and Organised Crime Division and the International Co-operation Unit before being let loose on the criminal courts of Glasgow and Inverness.  Since then he has appeared regularly in Criminal Courts throughout Scotland, conducting numerous Trials and procedural hearings.

Chris has a keen interest in health and fitness, taking part in triathlons. In 2015 Chris became an Ironman, completing a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile cycle and 26.2 mile run in Bolton, England. In the future, Chris hopes to add a few more marathons and ultra marathons to his list of achievements.
