'I run a courier company and my driving license is essential to my employment. In October 2014 I was arrested for failing to provide a specimen of breath to the police at the roadside and thereafter at Maryhill Police Office. I was told by my first lawyer that I should plead guilty. I didn't agree with this advice. We went to trial and I was found not guilty of failing to provide a sample in the police office and pled guilty to failing to provide a sample of breath at the roadside. I had nine points on my license and faced a totting up ban. You argued that exceptional hardship applied and the judge agreed and allowed me to continue driving. All things considered this was an amazing result. I am very happy with your efforts on my behalf and wouldn't hesitate to recommend'

Mr B. Prosecuted at Glasgow Justice of the Peace Court for failing to provide specimens at the roadside and in the police office. Found not guilty of the more serious charge of failing to provide a specimen in the police office and pled guilty to the lesser charge of failing to provide a roadside breath test. Allowed to continue driving after exceptional hardship found to apply.
